Paul Storm is President of the Willoughby District Historical Society and is also an artisan glass etcher who replicates damaged Victorian or Edwardian glass in Sydney's historic homes. His interest in the Victorian and Edwardian eras extends to a wealth ofAustralian historical research to his credit. This April he will present his research into the letters of Rachael Henning. Rachael spent some of her life at Passy in Hunters Hill and is buried in the Field of Mars cemetery. Her collected letters have become a masterpiece as they sketch Australia's colonial culture and social landscape from the second half of the 19th to the early part of the 20th centuries. Her acute observations of people were as unforgiving as they are now compelling.
